Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Integration Engineer to design, implement, and oversee system integrations across multiple platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring seamless interoperability between internal and external systems. The ideal candidate will also act as a Scrum Lead, driving agile execution while mentoring team members and managing integration deliverables.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement system integrations using APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms
  • Define and lead integration architecture, technical strategy, and best practices
  • Oversee end-to-end data flow, transformation, and system interoperability across applications
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues and drive performance optimization initiatives
  • Ensure integrations meet standards for security, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Product, and external clients
  • Act as a Scrum Lead—facilitate ceremonies, manage sprint planning, and ensure timely delivery
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the integration team
  • Manage integration deliverables, timelines, and quality benchmarks
  • Perform production issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution planning
  • Engage in stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business goals

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in API development and integration (REST, SOAP)
  • Hands-on experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure
  • Solid understanding of data formats including JSON and XML
  • Experience using tools like Postman for API testing and validation
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Domain Knowledge : 

  • Experience in the US Insurance domain (mandatory or strongly preferred
Agile & Leadership :
  • Proven experience working as a Scrum Lead or in Agile environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery frameworks
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage engineering teams.
